Get Busy!!

Hello everyone!!

The title of my blog, “Get Busy,” has been on my mind on my mind this ENTIRE WEEK!  I began to think of all of the things that we are waiting on in life to happen.  Some of us may be seeking employment,  waiting on our Adam (not Adler),  waiting on our season to change, waiting on a promotion, waiting to get over something or someone who hurt us!  Whatever we are waiting on, we must remember to keep busy.  Well…. what do I mean by keep busy?  Get busy for Christ!  Period.  Whenever we go through tests and dry seasons in our life, we MUST take all of our cares to Jesus.  We must pray and dive deep into His word daily!  1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.”  The enemy works His best when we are idol and not spending time with the Lord and crying out our hearts to Him.

Get active in your church.  Ask God to lead you to ministries in to the Church that He feel would be the best ministry for you to serve in.  I just recently joined Church this past Sunday!  I am beyond excited to take my new membership classes and get involved in the church: )  The Lord needs us to be involved in the church.  All of us are apart of the body of Christ and we all have a function in the body of Christ.  1 Corinthians 12:12 says, “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.”  Sometimes, getting involved in church can spark some nervousness because you have to meet new people and open up.  But once you get past that phase, you will definitely enjoy the experience of letting God use you 🙂  Again, I am so excited to involved in different ministries (even though I am nervous).

The Bible says, Philippians 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (KJV)  We should not be anxious in during our test, for we know that God is a Healer, a Comforter, a Father, a Mother, a Provider; He is everything and more!  The Bible also says, Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (KJV)  If this is what God said, then I have no choice but to believe it because He said so.  Sometime I feel that we for some crazy reason, we underestimate Him.  We serve a Great God, who deserves Great praise and we should cast our small cares on Him.

Remember to stay busy for Christ and stay strong during your season… remember that it is a season.  After Winter, comes Spring.  Change will come…but until it change comes, Get Busy 🙂

God loves you so very much!!!
