I Know Who Holds Tomorrow…

Hi guys! My prayer is that everyone had a good day today. If for some reason, you feel as if you didn’t? Then this post is for you 🙂

Honestly? Today was hard. Today was stressful. Today was real. Today was mentally exhausting for more reasons than I ever thought it could be. Today, like most days, showed my strength. Today, I could’ve cried, but I didn’t. I could’ve given in, but I couldn’t. I could’ve screamed, but I chose not to. I could’ve stopped laughing, but I laughed harder. I wanted to not smile, but I did anyway. Today was…Real.

So much was going on and has been going on. But can I tell you that in the midst of the storm, God knows how to calm you. He still knows how to bring you peace of mind. When I tell you that the devil tried to defeat me? Key word-Tried. I simply laughed, began to pray and went on about my day. Please know and understand that in your toughest, realest moments, that is when God is holding you closest to His heart. He loves you so much. He cares for us more than we can comprehend.

I wanted to blog about other topics today, but this hit home. I said I have to say something about this. All day I was singing the song, “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow…” I just couldn’t let this song go because it always rings so true. I said to myself, “Lord I know why you told me not to worry about tomorrow because today will take care of itself.” (Refer to Matthew 6:34) We need to enjoy today. Gosh it’s so much easier said than done, but we must do this. We truly dont know what tomorrow holds or what the end of the day holds. I am reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

When you are at your weakest point, God is at His strongest point. Lean not on your own understanding. The Lord knows exactly what you’re going through.

Jesus is Love,

Chelsea
