Hi guys! Happy Sunday to you! This week and weekend has been extremely busy for me!! Can’t believe tomorrow is Monday LOL For the past few months, purpose and God’s vision for my life has been on my heart. I have a few thoughts I would like to share on purpose 🙂
I was at a gospel concert some months back and I heard a singer quoting scriptures but in the midst of it, he stopped himself and said….”I don’t have my preacher credentials…yet.” Basically stating that he has not gone to seminary school yet. Listen, I am hear to tell you through the Holy Spirit that if God called you to preach, then preach. If he called you to sing, then sing. Or maybe he called you to another part of ministry then please be obedient and follow through; don’t depend on man’s validation on the calling He has on your life.
With that being said, I am not saying that there is anything wrong with going to seminary school, but don’t feel that you need to do this in order to complete the task that He gave you. He knows you better than you know yourself and He will equip you with all the necessary tools 🙂 Be Spirit led in everything you do.
Some of you have been told to sing, preach or open up a business. You have been told to leave the country to minister to people in other parts of the world. Some of you have even been told to go out to the streets and evangelize to people. Whatever he has placed on you heart, be obedient immediately. Now…..some of you may say, I know what God has told me to do, but I just don’t know how to do it. You not only know what your purpose is but you feel passionate about your purpose. You are so filled with the Holy Ghost and it’s almost like you feel that God forgot he gave you that gift LOL Honey I know! I feel the the same way. But we must remember that timing is everything!!
Would you want to eat a peach or watermelon out of season? Have you ever eaten watermelon when it was out of season or too ripe? It wasn’t good right? This is the same concept we must have in our own lives especially with our purpose. Don’t you dare allow the devil to whisper sweet nothings in your ear about what God may have forgotten! How silly! If He gave you the gift, surely He will provide the proper path to guide you; trust his timing. If He told you to go, then GO 🙂 Your obedience could save some one’s life and save their soul. This is what it is all about. He didn’t give you a gift or annointing for you to sit on it. Go out with boldness to save souls for Christ.

Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory for ever and ever. Amen.” KJV
Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” KJV
