Should I Go?

Hello everyone!! Can you believe that it is Spring?! That’s beyond crazy to me! Time is flying and it will be Summer before you know it. Summer is my favorite time of year 🙂 It’s been on my Spirit to write a blog concerning direction.  I feel as if  sometimes we are constantly wondering what is the next step and if the last step we took was in God’s Will…Lets chat.

Life is funny. We are wrecking our brains about this and about that. When will I get married? When will I have children? Lord, when will I find the one? Is the person I’m currently with the One? Or do I need to move on? Should I propose? Should I move to find another job and Lord when will you bless me with another job? And so on and so forth….How do we find balance in knowing that God has a plan for our lives and wondering if we are actually walking in it?  How do we truly know?

The only way to know that we are walking in His purpose for our lives is to listen to the Holy Spirit and meditate on His Word daily.  We must trust that even though we may not understand what God is doing, He still has a plan. Even when we don’t feel like He is working in our lives, He is.

So when we ask ourselves these heavy questions that start with Should I? Or Could I? We need to pause and see how God really feels about what we are doing. That “Gut” feeling that telling you to do right is always God. He would never lead you down a path of destruction….Listen to His voice.

For those of you wondering about anything? A new car, a new job or opportunity, make sure that you are doing your part. Faith without works is dead. You can’t say you are ready for your husband, but you keep a random person that you know you have no intentions of marrying in your bed.  You can’t say want another job, but you won’t update your cover letter and resume.  I’m a firm believer in “doing your part.”  We must stay focused and continue to do what we can in our flesh and God will do supernaturally what we can’t. Amen? Amen!
