When can I walk in my Purpose?!

Heyyyyyy guys!! Long time no chat!  I instantly felt compelled to write a blog!!  This blog will be about Purpose.  What do you do when you know your purpose but God has not allowed you to fully walk into your purpose yet?  Lets chat!

I’m currently going through a season where I know what God has called me to do and I would love to it full time!!  I would love to be able to do what God has blessed me to do. I would love for my passion to be my paycheck. But the reality is…that’s not my reality. Of course I can do what I love to do but I’m not able to do it full time right now. I’m sure that there may be some singers, songwriters, preachers, teachers, authors, actors and actresses who would love to live out their passion/calling fulling time. I mean, who wouldn’t want to do what they love to do and get paid for it?!

It can be even more challenging when your 9-5 is just not cutting it! You feel as if you are wasting your time! You say, to yourself “All I want to do is what I want to do.” You say, I know this job isn’t for me! I just need an opportunity to walk into my purpose. It can be frustrating to do something everyday that isn’t fulfilling and it sucks the energy out of you because it’s not what you feel that you should be doing.

I want to encourage you and myself that God moves when He decides to move! He knows the talent and calling that he placed inside of your heart. He knows how you long to do what you were called to do. Now….with this being said, God also knows our motives. He knows why we really want to do what we do. Do we give to be seen? Or do we give because we truly just want to be a blessing? Do we sing for applause? Or are we singing the Gospel in hopes that someone will see Jesus in us and be saved! That’s what it’s all about! Kingdom Building! Lets make sure out motives are always pure.

Sometimes we can be so caught up in the talent God has blessed us with that we forget to use his Gift that He blessed us with for His Glory! It should never stop being about Him. We should always bless His Holy name in whatever we do. We need to always do a “heart check” on ourselves.

Just know that when God gets ready to use you? No Devil in Hell can stop you! We must be patient and be willing to do whatever God wishes for us to do! He is so able and faithful.  God’s timing is everything.  We must always remember that it’s all about His timing an not ours; be encouraged.

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT)
